She lights her a smoke and she tunes in a song, she sits there in silence reminiscing the wrong

She curses me through her foam covered lip as she raises her glass to take her first sip…

After all the confusion, she’s reached a conclusion; it’s all been one big delusion

The unexplainable feeling of love gone to ruin, disguises itself and leaves me half human

I put the chair in my car and head for the north, setting my
sights on a universal course

I know that my mind and my heart are still porous, so I take to the wood and I bleed in the forest…

From here I’ll discern all I have learned, from here I will thrive with the moss and the fern.
